How to Build an Intentional Employee Culture

Published by Florida Society of Association Executives
and Kentucky Society of Association Executives
Learning Objectives
  • Define your ideal culture for your team or organization
  • Assess the current state of your culture
  • Prioritize the most impactful change you can make to start the momentum towards culture transformation

Summary

Culture within our teams and organizations happens whether we are intentional about it or not. "Norms" emerge and people begin to recognize how things get done or what is expected in how we perform and treat each other. Today, the quest for employee retention is a critical one and often a difficult one due to so many compounding factors in our world today. We've developed a simple A.D.A.P.T. model to help you get into the right mindset, define your ideal culture, assess your current culture, and then prioritize one change that will make the most impact and start the momentum of culture change.
